A permit is required for any organized event at any City of Charleston park, facility, or field. Permits are subject to approval.
*All Facility/Field/Building/Space permitting will now be done online through this website.
*Web Trac households are required to submit a permit. If you do not have an account, please create one. Please click in the top right-hand corner My Account/Sign in/Register and follow the instructions on the screen. It could take 24-48 hours for account to be approved.
*Permit fees will be due upon permit submittal. Permit fees are non-refundable.
*A minimum of 21 days notice is required for all permits.
*Permits are tentative until approved by the City of Charleston. You will receive a tentative acknowledgement of your request by email. Please check spam folders as well.
*If the permit is approved you will receive an email with approval, notes and an invoice of fees.
*All fees are due a minimum of 14 days prior to the event. IF NOT 14 days prior to event, the permit will be CANCELLED automatically. If this happens, a new permit cannot be processed for cancelled permit.
*Please be sure to select the correct days/times/dates/facility that you want to secure. If the permit is approved and changes must be made, there is a $25.00 rescheduling fee.
*Please understand all permits will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Facilities could show available but this does not guarantee permit approval.
