JIRC Sensory and Social Skills Camp: Happy Campers
Hosted by practicing occupational therapists, campers will participate in a
variety of activities to support sensory integration, fine and visual motor, and group
participation skills. Offering a 1:2 professional-to-camper ratio, this camp provides
hands-on support to build foundational social skills needed for success in the preschool
and kindergarten classroom settings.
No diagnosis is required; however, camp is most
appropriate for campers with a developmental diagnosis such as autism spectrum
disorder, sensory processing difficulties, or social speech delay.
*Activities are based on occupational therapy principles, however, this camp does not
include official OT services.
